inland style

early start this morning (at least for a sat)....
it was worth it tho
claire and i met with the inland em worship team (from left to right: me, thomas, sarah, esther, and jeanette; claire is taking the pic)
we opened up the word
we looked at the OT understanding of worship
then we shared and talked about practical implications
solid time of learning and exchange

lo and behold, claire and i saw some friendly faces

like will and pauline, a young couple who serve the Lord with all their hearts...so great to see them....reminded claire and me of when we were dating, just happy in love!

here's will and me chilling in one of the church offices...he's thinking about seminary in a coiuple of years....pauline, by the way, was recently hired as the 4th-5th grade teacher of the inland children's dept...congrats pauline!!!

finally, we stopped in a chinese-amer church on our way home to see a friend and we loved the flags that draped the sanctuary....a local church with global perspective....good stuff.

well, gotta run....the i-5 down to san diego is gonna be brutal....good thing we've got our t hughes CD to sing to...
