go

.
::: in matthew 28.18-20, Jesus tells his disciples to "go and make disciples of all nations" by baptizing and teaching with trinitarian authority...

.

...yet, in verse 16, we read that Jesus told the eleven disciples to "go" to a certain mountain in galilee, where, in verse 17, they met Jesus as obedient worshipers...

.

...is there a connection -- at least experientially -- between Jesus' "go" command in verses 16-17 and his commissioning "go" command in verses 18-20...

.

...daily i'm finding that my willingness to go to Jesus as an obedient worshiper (28:16-17) propels my willingness (and joy!) to go out to others as a discipling witness of Jesus (28:18-20) :::

Wow. Hey guys, that's a really neat connection that I never would have put together. It challenges me more to again look not at what we can do for Jesus but that we get to BE WITH Jesus. In a relationship... to commune with Jesus. :) This will take more chewing up. Thanks friends!!! :)

Lots of love to ya!
