Commissioning

....what a full and fulfilling day of worship leading (two services), speaking at three services, and getting commissioned by both the english and korean congregations at inland church...i (bobby) was an emotional mess throughout the day as God stirred my heart to tears as i reflected on how much Inland has been a part of my life...by God's grace, coupled with my dad's help, i was even able to speak (in korean!!) to hundreds of parishioners with joy, clarity, and proper respect...and get this, i wasn't even nervous!...praise God for his sure presence and power...

...unfortunately, my camera battery was dying so i didn't get to take too many pics but here are a few pics of the awesome brothers and sisters at inland, beginning w/ the winsome worship team (left to right: jason, thomas, sarah, and jeanette)...

...thomas showcasing the martin guitar that many of the inlanders pitched in to get for him...ahhh, new guitars smell soooooo nice....watch out world, get ready for thomas!

...after weeks in an icu unit (and the fervent prayers of family and friends), bethany and matthew -- john and carol's precious twins -- attended their first inland sunday service....whooohooo!!!...we praise God that we were able to be here for this wonderful milestone!!!

...hey nate (aka n8), bring your mad filmmaking skills to japan, k?...

...dean, u rock...

...my boy danny, the asian chris tucker...

..."oh my gosh," we told proud parents david and cindy, "ryan is getting so big!"

....after church, we met up with our dear friend, hilda, for a soul-refreshing time of accountability, encouragement, and prayer....we're gonna miss ya, hilda!!!

...our day of commissioning ended with a family gathering at my dad's favorite restaurant -- souplantation...all my relatives in so-cal came out and sent us off with smiles and hugs, words of encouragement, and their continued pledge of prayer support...we praise God for the ways in which He has knit our family together....
