...before dinner claire and i went to buy a couple things from midori, an electronics superstore that opened a couple days ago in a nearby shopping center...what a maze of megabyte meyhem!...walking through the aisles and aisles of products, midori is a magnificent window into one of japan's most heralded contributions: technological know-how and wizardry...all in all, we were mesmerized...and that's just after 30 minutes in the store...

...choosing an electric shaver from a wide array of dozens wasn't easy...

...picking a shaver is easy compared to selecting a digital player, camera, phone, or pc...

...hmmm....sumo on widescreen hdtv?...good idea? ; )...

...being a playstation palace, midori is a video gamer's heaven (or, better yet, haven!)...

...listening to the kinki-boys...name aside, not bad...

...this is just the beginning...while we're on japanese soil, i think we'll be continually mesmerized...
