::: music continues to be a strong connecting point for us...today, two friends -- kotomi (center)and tadanao --

...spent their precious rest day with us...thanks for showing us south osaka and harborland (kobe)...in south osaka, they also helped us compare prices (and ask questions in japanese) for some new music gear we're thinking of buying...with the stateside sale of my korg triton pro-x and mixer/speakers, we've saved enough to begin assembling the basic elements for digital music sequencing/production...

...oh what endless fun these two toys will bring!!!

...by the way, if you have +/- feedback on either the motif es-7 or br-1600cd, please let me know!...

...being in the motherland of yamaha and roland, you would think we could score on a great deal...but not so...prices are equal to or greater than those in the states, but one leading store in osaka throws in a ton of extras (pedal, stand, a quality plug in, etc.)...

...we'll leave you with this picture of tadanao, kotomi, and claire taken in harborland (kobe) at the end of a good day...being around a bear of any kind brings out the fighting spirit in my sweet cal alum (watch out kotomi!)...
