ministry joy
::: i met a japanese entrepreneur today in his downtown osaka office...we spent the afternoon in deep conversation...with his english fluency we had no language barrier...mostly i listened to his heart...a heart in anguish...it was emotionally draining and spiritually demanding...there were no walls...no pretenses...we were two humans sharing and embracing our humanity...with the winds of prayer pushing us forward into rougher waters, we shared a significant breakthrough as the reality of (and our response to) the suffering love of our wounded savior entered the conversation...from tears of regret to tears of renewal...from sighs of fear to smiles of freedom...this is the power of the cross...witnessing God powerfully at work in this man's life is bringing me great joy...at one moment during our time together, i treasured this thought -- thank you God for your calling on my life...there's nothing in the world i'd rather be doing :::
