::: back in february 2005 we interviewed with asian access as candidates for its church planting associate (cpa) program...during those sessions, we met an intern named christy who was friendly and helpful to us throughout our screening process...fast forward a year later...last night in waterfront kobe we were thrilled to meet up with christy and her close friend, megumi (who we've come to love so much)...small world indeed, especially if you're part of the japanese christian community...

...it was fun just seeing christy (left) and megumi having so much fun...

...i love you anpanman (a popular children's character made of bread ("pan") who gives pieces of his head to others who are hungry...when this happens, his father-figure makes bread and replenishes anpanman's head...kinda crazy but his big compassionate heart and his even bigger smiley face are tooo irresistible)...

...it's not every day that you can get into anpanman's head...
