...last night, we invited two friends -- both students at a local university -- to our home for dinner...

...by God's grace, both said yes to Jesus by evening's end...two more reasons to rejoice this day...

...receiving Jesus as lord and savior is rooted in responding positively to the exclusivity of the cross...therein lies the rub...as we partner with our church in loving and supporting these two friends, we recognize the daily challenges facing new japanese believers to follow Christ (mark 8:34) in a pluralistic-animistic society...
