...They were playing the Orix Buffaloes which is a team whose stadium is about a 10 minute walk from our home.

...Orix Buffaloes also happens to be Ichiro's former team. We hear he still comes back to this area during American baseball's off-season and is often seen running/jogging around town.

...I know the Tigers won but I (Claire) don't quite remember the score because I was too busy trying to keep up with all the chants and singing. Here's just a taste. Imagine this throughout the whole game!

...Then of course you gotta try some stadium food. No sign of Dodger Dogs here, just lots of ramen, chicken on sticks, rice rolls and beer. So we had some Akahoshi Ramen. It's ramen named after one of the Tiger's star players Norihiro Akahoshi. His last name Akahoshi means "Red Star". So, when you order an Akahoshi ramen and you get a red star in your ramen.

...Last year Bobby was in Budapest and wasn't able to go to the game, so this was his first. It was great to be there together!
