copperfield beware

...this morning, my mom learned magic tricks at bethel church....her reasons are twofold: first, the magic class is free...second, she wants to keep learning things in order to connect with people in japan (already she plans on serving with us occasionally in japan, teaching classes to japanese women like how to cook korean food, how to play the autoharp/piano, and now, add to her repertoire: how to perform magic tricks)...mom has a heart for the gospel (her non-Christian friend wanted to go), and what amazes us is that she is always laughing and learning, which is what claire and i love about her....
