north glen

...in california, the only church i've called home is located on north glen street in the city of pomona: inland presb church...with a korean congreg of 800 or so members, a steady english/multi ministry, a growing youth and college ministry, and a rock solid education dept, IPC is home to many christians in the inland empire...

...yesterday, claire and i worshiped on north glen street with the ipc family of believers... part of our joy at inland is seeing people from the past that are all grown up now (like sisters liz and ester who we met often while they attended ucla):

...and ernest (pic below)...i really enjoyed spending time with him as a student of mine when he was in high school and then later at ucla, but i'm so happy to see that he's been a great sunday school teacher at inland, doing a great job discipling many younger brothers with his faith and fun-loving personality:

...and awesome younger brothers in christ who are growing up before our eyes and desire to serve God with their passions (like nathan (left) who wants to make films for God's glory and Daniel who is preparing for medical missions):

...of course, at a family church like inland, you see just that: new families...here's david han and his lovable, huggable son, ryan (dave's wife, cindy, was away for the moment but he looks cool sporting the daddy look):

...finally, God has blessed inland with some faithful and fervent pastors...like em pastor john song, who is also a professor of korean at a cal state university and with three kids, he and his wife have a full life...

...don't mess with pastor song...a native texan, he sports a gun collection and roams the highways and by-ways of l.a. in this lone star state special:

....and don't mess with pastor peter song either....he's not from texas but that doesn't matter...besides being a discipled man of morning prayer, pastor song is a nth-degree black belt whose flying kicks are more deadly than his fervent sermons (hayyyyyyaaaaaa!!!!)...
