art class

::: invited warmly by one of our neighbors (mrs. f), i (claire) started an art class that meets once a month in the teacher's home...the art class gave me a good chance to get to know mrs. f and her friends...moreover, with lunch and tea time served afterwards (starts at 10am and goes till about 4pm), the art class gives me a chance to see what life is like as a japanese woman, wife and mother...

...i am once again inspired to press on in my japanese language skills (i feel like i've plateaued a bit after an initial good start)...i only understood about 10% of the conversations...

...here's the main event...not art...food...definitely my kind of hobby!

...i also realized i need to develop more hobbies...each of these ladies love to do art, knit, sew, make knick-knacks out of wire...look what they made for me out of metal wires...soo-goee (amazing)!

...please continue to pray with me as i develop closer relationships with these ladies...
