...as for claire, God continues to use the old testament book of genesis to ground her faith in the foundational truths of God as Creator and Sustainer, coupled with the concomitant reality that His creational power is at work in and through us for all that ministry entails...this creational theme reverberates through paul's epistle to the colossians, which claire has been memorizing for the past several months...
...as for me, in my study of the old testament, God has been using daniel 9, the psalms, isaiah and the latter (or minor) prophets to drive me to confessional, intercessory prayer, not only for myself but also for this nation...as for the new testament, God has been using the books of hebrews and revelation to lead me to a deeper grasp of how christ is both God's rest (as in hebrews) and God's wrath (as in revelation)...
