Good Times with Griffith

Griffith came to town and we had a great time showing him around and showing him off to our friends and neighbors. Griff was Bobby's junior high student in Sunday school and they've been big bro and little bro ever since, although Griff's not so little anymore.

Griff did a lot of cooking while he was with us as we had friends over to meet and eat with him. I felt so bad because although everything in Japan is Claire-size (i.e. little-people sized), Griff was usually hunched over washing dishes or cooking - thanks Griff!

Griff joined us for Sunday worship at Gakuentoshi Chapel. I think the first question they asked him after "Nice to meet you" was "How tall are you?"

Although Yuko and Bobby co-preach together once a month it was Yuko's first time leading praise with Bobby. She just recently picked up the guitar and she's really great!

Another first: the Nishiwaki's (the oldest and wisest members of our church) daughter (top row, 2nd from the R) and grandson were visiting from England. We're excited to go see them in a few months after we move to England.
