loads of summer

::: in the weeks leading up to the present summer season, we had been repeatedly warned about the impending combination of heat and humidity...as is the case every few years, this summer -- particularly this month -- has been relatively mild with more cloudy, rainy days than sauna days....

...our bed faces a window...every morning we can see if it's sunny or not...on those days when the sun comes out of its tent "like a bridegroom leaving his chamber" (psalm 19:5), claire immediately thinks one thing from the moment she awakes...

...sorry if you were expecting something more pulse-raising...but who says the mundane things in life can't be exciting when you're doing them with someone you love!...
