Fun with Claire - Olympics

.
.

To commemorate the recent Summer Games, we had our own Olympics - Fun with Claire-style.
.
.
We started with Kotomi teaching the kids about joyfulness from 1 Thessalonians 5:17.
.
.
...
.
.

Next, we learned some sports words in English.
.
.
... .
.
We played some of our own Olympic-style games. Watch for these games in Summer 3030.
.
.

Rock, paper, scissors (Janken) train: the non-winners form a chain behind the winners until there's one winner.
.
.

.
.
The basketball toss: No pics but basically, Bobby holding a basketball net while trying to catch the balls that were thrown in his direction. Bobby made all the kids feel like Kobe Bryant.
.
.
Paper Airplane toss: Trying to fly your plane high and far, as well as trying to hit a specific target.
.
.

...
.
.
...

.
.

...

.
.
To reward them for all their hard work: the kids got to make their own prizes (thanks for the great idea Yuko). . .

.

Can you guess what it is???
.
.

That's right. . . gold medals, of course!
.
.

...
.
.
...

.
.

We are all gold-medal winners!!

Special thanks to Eriko who tirelessly piggybacked and ran round and round with all the kids, always with love and a smile.
